Mother nature, Mother earth, these are terms we use relating to earth which present Mother as our provider of resources, regenerating, renewing and recycling.
When we think of the word Mother, we have images of strength and beauty, love and acceptance, resilience and purity.
Just think of everything we take from the earth to live and prosper and all that we have available at our fingertips due to her generosity and continuing support.
Much like our own Mothers who gave us life, nourished us and if we are lucky continue to be by our side as we have families of our own. And so the continual process of rebirth continues.
So much is learnt through the Mother and in some case this may not be the biological mother or even a woman, however the giver, the carer, the nurturer, is the most influential role model in a child’s life. That person who is completely selfless and concerned only with the protection and care of the child.
